New Year's Resolution: Come Up With a Title For This Post!

Last year was a crazy year. I produced so much fun artwork, put out a new No Pants Revolution zine, created comics for a couple anthologies and tabled at several comic conventions/zine fests (I think nine? Is that right? Something like that). I feel like I accomplished quite a bit and maybe actually might be proud of myself (Is that right? Something like that). Anyway, I've been setting some new goals for myself for the new year.  I'd like to have the new No Pants Revolution zine come out (should be done by April), there are a few conventions I'd like to table at, I'm currently finishing up another comic for a new anthology, and I'd like to get a whole book of my own published this year. New Year's always kind of sucks a little, because it's in the middle of the winter and it is hard for me to be optimistic when it's so dreary. I've had a lot of crappy days so far this year, but today I actually felt kind of good. So here is hoping for a good, positive, happy 2019!

Oh, and what is this? I'm already lined up to table at two events this Spring. I'll post more info on Facebook and Instagram when it gets closer, but I'd like to officially announce that I will be tabling at Milwaukee Zine Fest April 6th and Chicago Zine Fest May 18th! (pew, pew, pew, pew! *finger guns*).

Awesome poster design by Neil Brideau.

So all of that stuff is exciting. Welp, have a good day...

Oh shit, I almost forgot. Most of you have probably already seen this by now, but every January I usually take a second to show off last year's holiday card. This was a fun and simple one. I initially had this really cool idea for a more complex and sinister card but John nixed that idea. :/

I mean, I thought it would be cool. Anyway, we came up with a fun more simple card. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures during the process of this one, but here are a couple that I shot and used as teasers for Instagram.

Here's a picture of the painted original before Photoshop, so you can see all the mistakes I made.

And finally, the final.

John didn't like how sinister my first idea was so I made him the devil. Anyway, I hope you guys had a pleasant holiday season, new year, etc. I hope to see some of you guys soon.

Oh, by the way, if you don't already know, I post so much more artwork on my Instagram account @Saturn2169. Go follow me if you don't already. I also have a Twitter if that is your thing, also @Saturn2169. Alright. That's it.
