Every once in a while I get that urge to chop all my hair off. I haven't done it yet, but everyday I come up with more and more reasons why I want to cut my hair.

The Lost Pages From A Long Gone Sketchy-Magee
So today I was doing some much needed cleaning around the apartment and stumbled upon an old sketchbook from 2013. I purchased this sketchbook in hopes that it could become my next day to day sketchbook. Soon after I started drawing in it the pages began to fall out. I taped the few pages back in but then more pages kept falling out and I got fed up and never finished it. I tossed it aside and bought a better sketchbook. Well today I found it and decided to post some of the forgotten sketches that never got a chance to be posted. Enjoy!
This is a sketchy outline for a comic about my and John's obsession with Mister Softee. In the comic it shows me thinking after John asks me what I want, but the truth is I always know what I want. Cherry dipped cone every time!
I'll leave you with this final thought I found scrawled in the book.

A Sneak Peek at This Year's Holiday Card
Thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek at this year's holiday card. Just a taste.
Ooooooo mysterious.
Bonus! This past weekend was Comic Arts Brooklyn. I could have spent so much money there, but had to show some restraint. Either way, check out all the cool stuff I got!
One thing I was definitely excited about was buying this ink painting from Phil McAndrew. I love his comics and art and am excited to own a little original piece from him. So excited, that I immediately went out and bought a frame for it.
Probably the most exciting part was being able to talk to Theo Ellsworth. I bought one of his zines and he drew this cool number on the inside. I will cherish it forever.
Super Extra Bonus! Here's a little doodle of me at the park a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

Last of the Sticky Notes
Here are the last of my September #Stickathon2014 drawings. Man, some of these are pretty bad. Enjoy!
Super last minute Mito sketch.
Went to the National Zoo and got to see real pandas!
Batman on a plane on my way to Chicago.
Of course I did one everyday except the last day of the month, 'cause fuck it. It was fun though.
Bonus: Was at the National Zoo on the 28th and got to see actual pandas. They were so cute!

Sticky Notes So Far
I joined a group of artist friends for a fun little project. Draw on a sticky note every day for the whole month of September. It's a fun way to remember to draw every day. I've just been sticking my sticky notes in random places around my apartment, but some artists have been hiding fun little drawings in different areas around their cities. To see some of the other cool little pieces coming out of this project just search the hashtag #stickathon2014 on Facebook or Twitter. Here are the ones I've done so far. They range from cool, little piece of art to short comics to crappy, quick sketches. And I may or may not have been under the influence of alcohol while drawing some of these. Try to guess which ones! Enjoy!
Day 1: Inspired by a giant flying cockroach I saw on my way to work.
What episode of The Simpsons is this?
Red panda!
Cartoon panda.
Baby hippo at the request of my husband. Drawn during a wedding reception.
Crazy weather day.
Really wanted to make strawberry rhubarb pie, but couldn't find strawberries.
Bonus: Grocery shopping list. Not one of my #stickathons, but written on a sticky note.
Bonus! Was able to find strawberries. Here's the actual strawberry rhubarb pie I made.
Kirby!
Space Invader redesign. Idea courtesy of @Sketch_Dailies.
John requested something Futurama.
Hair!
Halloween is still over a month away.
This was pretty lazily/drunkenly sketched from a beer label.
Mickey on the beach. Wish I was in Florida with my sisters.
Tortoise cop. Another John request.
